Web and Mobile App developer

We have a product prototype that has been developed on WordPress with aspects of its development that requires final touches . The objective is to develop it into a mobile application

Review of requirements

Finalizing the WordPress-based prototype

Development of mobile application (should work on for Android and IOS devices)

Develop a detailed work plan, based on an Agile methodology, for designing, installing, rolling out (including system testing, user training and systems maintenance training) of the mobile application.

Deploy a content management system that allows non-technical staff to update the mobile application.

Conducting the UAT and analyzing the results

Handle all integrations with other platforms (e.g. payment platform)

Release the application in AppStore’s

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria

A minimum of a first degree in IT, Computer science, computer engineering or other similar qualification

At least 5 years of experience in both front-end and back-end development, in particular mobile and web applications

Integrity, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and working under strict deadlines

Excellent command of web programming and scripting languages, web/mobile frameworks including but not limited to Flutter, Swift, , React native , python, angular, jQuery etc

Excellent command of template development using WordPress/drupal

Proven experience wtih a range relational database software e.g. SQL, MySQL, Oracle

Familiarity with AI and ensuring the platform data is AI -ready

Proven experience working with APIs including development, data extraction

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Have a capacity to assess the various markets of interest to Pyretra

International experience is encouraged as well as fluency in more than one major international language in addition to English (e.g., French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Mandarin)

Be eligible to work in Canada and reside in the Greater Toronto area

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $35,009.62-$125,507.60 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5T 2C2
